How much would it be to change a valve cover gasket at a shop?

I have a 93 Geo Tracker and I need to know around what it would cost to get it fixed at a shop. I know the part is like 10 bucks...Thanks How much would it be to change a valve cover gasket at a shop?
Figure about $100, maybe a bit less. I'm not familiar withthe Tracker, but many cars have a lot of junk covering the valve cover(s) which must be removed and reinstalled to do the job. You need to be careful when this is done. Get any debris in the valve gear area when the cover is off and you can toast the engine with damage to the cam etc.

More than basic tools are also probably required, Most valve covers have a torque spec for installation. This seats the gasket. Overtighten and you get a leak, undertighten and you get a leak.

Don't know probably a hundred, but it's a fairly easy DIY job, if you like working on cars. How much would it be to change a valve cover gasket at a shop?
About $75 part and about 1 hour labor and it shouldn't even be 1 hour but they charge a minimum of 1 hr. If it is any more than $75 do it your self it is VERY VERY simpleHow much would it be to change a valve cover gasket at a shop?
It is a minimal charge fix. Some shops may charge you about $150 to fix, but if you live in a more rural area than I do, you may be able to find a mechanic to do it for about $60.

The entire procedure involves loosening between 4 and 12 bolts, scraping the old gasket away, and tightening between 4 and 12 bolts.
